White Lotus Season 3 Premiere on Feb. 16

Jason Isaacs, who portrayed Draco’s cunning father in the Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, joins the star-studded cast of The White Lotus for its highly anticipated third season, premiering February 16 on HBO. Shedding his signature blonde locks, aristocratic robes, and British accent, Isaacs transforms into Timothy Ratliff, a Southern-drawling, khaki-clad “wealthy businessman” on a family getaway in Thailand. The drastic makeover renders him almost unrecognizable.

Timothy isn’t vacationing alone. He’s joined by his wife, Victoria (Parker Posey), and their three children: sons Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola), and daughter Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook). Sharp-eyed viewers may spot other familiar faces in the ensemble cast, but Isaacs’ pivot from wizarding elitist to tropical patriarch promises to be one of the season’s most striking reinventions. Set against Thailand’s lush backdrop, the new chapter of Mike White’s satirical thriller will no doubt weave its signature tapestry of wealth, privilege, and simmering dysfunction—with Isaacs’ Southern schemer at the center.

Horror enthusiasts will remember Posey for her portrayal of Jennifer Jolie in Scream 3, while Hook is well-known for her role as Debbie Glatzel in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

As for the new generation of heartthrobs, Schwarzenegger brings ample star power as the 31-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, while Nivola, the son of Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola, gained recognition for his performance as Will Winbury in The Perfect Couple alongside Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber.
